Honestly, you really demonstrate the idiocy of your argument. You're all about discrediting the person, not the idea. I also noticed you didn't reply to any of my posts in which I did make suggestions either. So, case in point really.

Games are about improving skill, they're not about dying to a 10 minute old newb who figured out how to cloak or decided to spam an over-powered lev bomb in the general direction of the base. What you've done is say, no matter how good you are, anyone can kill you, no matter what the gulf in skill.
I'm sorry I don't like all your stupid jav events where people hide behind walls and it takes a whole minute before anyone gets a kill. I liked pub, but now I don't see any reason to play it.
How do you kill someone you can't see? How do you dodge a lev bomb hitting anywhere near you? Those deaths are completely unavoidable, so there's no way to beat it by becoming more skillful. The key feature in all successful games is being able to improve. If improvement means playing "who's the biggest pussy" in javduel or elim, then there's nothing for me here.
I'm just glad my old zone is picking up again. Rant OVER.

Why else would he bring those super-bombs back and give levis 4 reps? That's insane, but it sure as hell makes it easy to LT doesn't it? I've argued my point on levis and weasels before, but you have someone in charge of pub who is giving the illusion of listening while really just pushing his own agenda on everyone. Suggestion: Restrict buy to safe only for LT, not Lev.
- Lev with 4 reps is strong on LT but those reps will be gone soon in base and are almost worthless in spawn (repeated fire on them/50%+ is lagrep anyways since spawners tend to show their skill by firing from 5px distance) which again promotes LTing outside instead of Solo-/BaseLev.
Suggestion: -2 reps +1 rocket so they can reach base faster and are less powerful on LT. (That is if buy for Lev stays restricted to safe while it does not for everyone else)1:waven> u challenge

why not points as money, and u can buy outside of safe with them? resets itself every 2 weeks. utilize what's already here, for instance, make pub scoreboard mean something. since i started 11 years ago, pub scoreboard hasn't meant anything. points for money - point prizes for last score reset period; best ratio, most points, etc... something to create competition, most people who care about points do not spend them, they just want the shield. utilize map space.. map only takes up 1/4th of entire available area. try something drastic, instead of a minor "Block added above left LT hole on roof", make an entrance to base from roof. the major problem i see with the game is the lev. people like it, but it kills basing and no one knows how to make it balanced, give it more competition. small weasels or an exit to roof to scare it away.
it just seems like everyone agrees something is wrong with pub, even when it gets "fixed", there is still something wrong with the fix. and all of these minor changes don't really do much to change that perception. it seems like there is a lot of small thinking for complacency. minor changes wont fix the core of the problem. in my opinion, whole base should be revamped - but thats dangerous thinking with the crowd who plays this game. it seems like if u rotated map 180 degrees so base was on bottom, people would complain that they had to fly down, and it's not normal, and it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing - even though it would be exact same map just upside down. people are going to complain about anything and everything. ignore them and try something bold - all these old players aren't going to quit, they either dont even play pub or are too addicted to quit.

yeah, I am aware, everyone one staff has their own opinions as well. I personally want lts to just go away, but thats me, abd I dont expect everyone to agree. I would expect changes to be made for the better enjoyment for all, instead of allowing some to have fun at the expense of others not having fun. Trying to balance everything isnt exactly simple. Changing one thing can greatly affect other things you may not think about.
As for Tiny, thats all about personal preferance.Former TW Staff
