Viable excuse? Not really, he doesn't have a legit connection. The reason why he couldn't enter, was because his ping was too high. At least thats what I heard. The server isn't in Finland anymore, btw. So it's not like Sika and Domi are 10 minutes from the server.

Hey, did you see Connection lag in your TWL-D? Was that not bad? Why you not whining about that? Bottom line, people lag, but you don't have to be paranoid that its "cheating," when it's really not. Crven and Warp are the only Diso members that I've seen so far that are not crying over "lag cheating." Maybe some of you should follow their lead.

am i "complaining" over their lag? no, if you can find one statement where ive said that please show me, the fact that moot was specced while sika/domi werent is what gets me, favouritism to the max.

and no finland isnt "close" to the server, but if 99% of people playing from here with no matter what connection (dail up included) are between 120-220ms, it does say something about how "close" it is to the server.

NZ on the other hand is a whole helluva lot farther away, and i dont think anyone from NZ doesnt lag.

That appears to be complaining. You're complaining that they lag more than Moot, which isn't the case. The reason Moot didn't get in, was his shit connection and his very high ping. I don't have a problem with Moot playing, but his ping was too high to play, thus he couldn't meet the "lag" restrictions. Case closed.

Ur wrong, like stab said when u lag that bad w/ shark u rep late. Means u repel things away on ur screen but on others screens it dont repel till late. U also sometimes dont see things other ppl see, such as a jav bomb or a shark bomb and boom it kills all but u. In a jav in base yes its ezier to lag around to the terr, and w/ the rocket+repel its like hell to dodge, but i garentee those lag javs hit twice as many ppl a game then actualy die.

Let's cut Sika's wire connection from his house to the server in the United States and I will count with my ruler how many times I had to hear Disoblige members whine about lag / divided by the times that Desperate whined about other people's lag and not realizing that he lagged more than an Asian tourist wearing a speedo.

People just don't get the fact that tanking 5 bullets is better than doing one rep totally on time. If you miss the rep, you can still lagmine the other team (like Hannes does). And for jav, I really couldn't care less about the javs rec if he can push the enemy team into ear WITH EVERY SINGLE ROCKET just because the terr needs to play safer than usual because of his lag.

Lordy, here I go breaking my self-imposed silence once again.

My opinion is that if someone can manage to play the game and not get specced, then it is legal.

From my PC, Sika's lag has always been strange looking. Not only does his ping swing from 60 - 240+, but it seems to 'pulse' in a non-random way. It does not look to me to be the same kind of ping swing that you see when someone is downloading in the background. It's more like an email program that is set for checking email every 3-4 seconds or something like that. But, again, if his lag is within the prescribed limits, then I believe he should play.

On my PC several of the -F- guys have high pings, and it so happens that these are the guys playing the key 'lag' ships, terrier, sharks and jav. I guess if -F- intentionally sets their lineup based in this, it could be call bad sportsmenship. I'm not sure that they do this at all, they seem to be playing the ships they are best at.

I also feel that -F- has no monoply on arrogance, they is plenty of arrogance on every squad.

Would things be better if the -F- guys lightened up, conceded that some of them do lag, tried to minimize the impact by playing laggy folks in less critical ships if at all possible? Yes. Would things be better if every squad did this? Yes.

Again, if they fall within the prescribed lag limits, then we all should be quiet and deal with it.

Yes actually, you see we, the Diso crew, has been sucking really badly lately in a league where we once owned, and now everyone is wondering why and what happened and how could things go so wrong, which, isn't really a big secret, it's just that we're bad, and lose our games. So, after hours of thinking behind closed doors, wp, mantra and me deicided to put in motion this plan, an attack on players that we lost to laced with lag controversy and cheaters accusations (of course this was chosen on purpuse due to our game vs -F- few years back where we lost, and our loss of crown last year to bunch of laggers after a 10-0 season) spearheaded by Fit of Rage (he's pretty new and everyone will flame him making him a perfect scapegoat). The idea is to eventually get whole squad involved in to this forum-riot, and then say that people are cheating to beat us cuz otherwise they wouldn't (even tho they would) and are generally pussies and fucking whining laming assholes that make our stay in TW totally terrible and that we wont take it anymore and that we will retire and dissolve midseason, thus saving our faces and leaving on a winning note, even if it is 1-4. So far, the plan is working just fine.

yes i was always for sika playing when i was in -F- too, becausee he is below the lag limits. BUT WHEN MOOT CAN BE ADDED BY THE BOTS AND PUT IN but specced by the ref, yes i feel there is a double standard, so spec sika and domi already.
