On a more positive note, hosting this game inspired me to take a look at TWL bot and I think I have the fix for crashes. We'll see next weekend if the ops let me make my change.

Izor is right, when all of you took the abuse of Quicksand so lightly, you set yourself up for this. Look at SK8's ego after having a year of staff fondling their balls oh so carefully. I wonder if Anzu has something worked out with PL about doing the twl sites. Rules were broken and nobody on staff really gives a shit yet again. What a horrible TWLD season, like I said in another thread - Sk8 even if you do somehow manage to snag a win in TWLD, nobody will respect you for it, all you did was get your way in scheduling, have staff lick your ass, and then have the audacity to "not change times" and log on forums telling people to stfu when staff breaks rules for you, rofl. If you win nobody will respect you, why would you want to even win that way.

im not really worried about it, you won't win. But if you did win, nobody would really care after the kind of TWLD season we have had. Of course there are people who are like "this has been a great season" and talk shit to the majority of players who think this season has been awful, of course they are on the squads that didn't get screwed at all.

I was under the impression that matches which were manually hosted were invalid, regardless of rules. But that aside, this seems like a clear rematch to me. However, I do not expect that it will happen, nor that you will get any answer to this appeal.

The bot officially died when the score was way bigger than just 21-8.

Guy, the bot died at 21-8, at that point it DID NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE until the rest of the game. If the bot was lagged it would have atleast done something. For all intents and purposes, this is when the bot died.

Now i didnt even notice the bot died, untill the end of the game.

You're going to tell me you don't look at the scoreboard at all during the game? Just press the ctrl button randomly without knowing the status of the game?

Of course the rules were broken, but ikrit did a nice job finnishing the game.

guess what he means to say that, if a squad is clearly winning a game, and has a few kills to go, and the bot dies, they should get the win anyway. With a manual host of course.

and 21-8 is not "a few kills to go". you guys are insisting on not calling 21-8 as when the bot died (4.5 minutes into the game), and instead calling the time when the bot left the arena. the problem happened at 21-8, and was not resolved. later the bot left the arena. it's all a moot point.

We had 6 or 7 people on at the time. 5 were playing. One was coording (me), one was afk.

Do you REALLY think we had enough "manpower" at the time to argue with the host while the game was in progress?

4.01 If an unpredictable server crash, router failure, TWBot failure, or other event has a massive impact on a game in progress, the match will be cancelled and all current scores discarded. The game will then be replayed at a later time. (See Rules 4.02, 4.03 and 4.04)

This should lay all doubts to rest - assuming the bot did indeed die at 21-8. If it quit working at that score, that's when it died - not when it finally got disconnected.

If there were to be a replay my suggestion is that staff schedule them all on Saturday and the next round Sunday. It's not that taxing on staff considering it's playoffs and there are only 6 matches total to be played next weekend (for the semifinals).
