But I do understand what you are trying to say and why you feel alarmed about your league. However, your comparison is a bit more like apples and oranges concerning having whole new ships enter in LD etc.

A more comparable analogy would be if TWDD/TWLD got a new rule that before a match you could choose to shoot twice with the same amount of energy, but only get 5 deaths before you are out.

It would swap up and disorient the styles of play...but it wouldn't be something not worth trying or even if it was thrown into TWLD right off the bat...its pretty hit and miss on whether it would be a failure or not, and most serious squads would not just start wingin' it and taking the chances of trying it out in LD games.

Same here, just because this option is now available, doesn't mean people will truly use it in TWLB or whatnot, and if they do they take the risks and sacrifices that come with it. All the easier for you to get a TWLB title.

Yes, its very likely squads will use 2 terrs so they get blown away 15:0. This is also why past seasons we've often seen squads starting with no sharks and just 1 terr + 7 javelins; purely to spite the enemy and lose with 15:0.

Can we have some more of your amazing logic please.

Also I already said even Disoblige won't be using 2 terrs through an entire game; I might try out a few times if it's worth anything at start; till first terr dies. That's it.

because other squads might? disoblige has already said they will...and isnt the whole point of TWL to be competitive, not have 15-0 games...? think everyone was just complaining about lowering the squad limit into twl because there were such blow off games and a waste of time.....isnt that what 15-0 means? blow off game and waste....of....time.....

Jesus christ, chill out. lol. What puzzles me the most with people who are arguing that terrs should be limited to one are the same who maintain that there should be no limit to spiders.

It's not that I'm for two terriers or anything..I'm not a big advocate of change but I don't think it's that big of a deal. People know that the best line is 1-2-5, and if you want to try something different than go for it. It just seems that this was brought on to us way too late.

Look, on one side it seems that having two terrs won't affect the game too dramatically, while the other side can see it as a possible advantage. Imo, the only thing you'll see is the abuse of being able to change to terr quickly and change back to spider (with how many shipchanges you get) Which I am sure will happen. Regardless, it's not a very effective strategy and at the end of the day the team with the best 1-2-5 lineup will win TWL.

And about the whole thing about new generation basers afraid of change? Sure, you can put me into that category. And yes, maybe basing has gotten a little dry with "cramming" and the same strategy going on. But each bd it's an exciting challenge for me to set lineups and to work with spiders on different roles during the game. Flagroom has become so frequent that there are much more strategy to gaining control in the flagroom. I certainly don't think it's much more cut and dry. It's also still a challenge for me because it is tough to build a squad to take out those squads that excel with the current basing settings.

So am I afraid of change? sure, at this point of basing we've built our squad and our newer players to work on excelling with the current settings. If anything, lets announce right at the end of next season that we're going with something new and we'll try it all offseason. The blocks were an adjustment but now I won't even recognize basing with the blocks now, after playing and practicing so much without the blocks.

I wasn't actually talking about players lagging real bad, but I was talking about abusing the glitches lag gives you. For example pushing close towards sharks that rep to make your bullets repignore those cause of lag and other shit like that.

You do that, so you my friend aren't a good spider that doesn't abuse lag.
