Most people may or may not know but outside of ss im quite busy. I work for a group home for people with developmental disabilities, Im getting certified to coach Bowling, Softball and Basketball, in the special olympics. I spend 1 day a week (or try to, things sometimes come up) helping out at a homeless shelter. Im an active Knight of Columbus member.

You're confusing three separate types of people: the homeless, the unemployed, and criminals. Homeless people can be employed, criminals can have homes.

What about those who are sick? Those who are hungry? Shouldn't we feed, clothe, heal and shelter everyone who deserves it?

But, cut to the chase - what these people are without, is money. It's money that they need to make - but getting into why so many people go without jobs and income would require taking an extensive look at public policy and the current economic structures.

How can you hope to fix something like the homeless problem? It's impossible. Not in our lifetime will that ever happen. There will always be homeless. I believe Kthx said it best when he said they are the 'dregs of society'. You cant fix that. Besides without them I would never get my windshield cleaned for free

I agree 100% with you on this...and we have agreed on past issues as well, but your correct on this. There will always be Prostitutes too, not to leave out murderer's, tax cheats, child molesters...

But I do disagree with having the homeless clean my windshield with a dirty rag that makes it worse than it was before they touched it

I think homelessness is inevitable - unless natural disasters and war etc stop - but it shouldn't be as widespread as it is today. Of course, I have my theories as to why...
