Because you already have a player base with the private basers. Now what you do is make private basing illegal and set up two or so basing prac bots that will somehow pick captains. The pracs won't be barren because the private basers will migrate there and invite people to play old school style. Hopefully they won't be overcrowded because of the other pracs availible (dueling/javs) not to mention elim, baseelim, pub, and hosted events.

You advert for it (Example: 16 Players in total are going to base to eatchother. Could you be one of the 16? -- ?go 8vs8 tot play )
The host will pick captains or let them messsage them. He activates the matchbot and assist the captains when necesarry with help adding players, notifying captains when someone leaves etc.
So you don't have to make changes to matchbot, and the players who get to play have a good time.

Private basing arena will not come public event. That arena works by a invite only tactic.

- when you pick people to base you dont have to pick the annoying people, just pick who is being nice and who you think will be good

this private basing is just like pub only you have the choice to pick who you think will do well, so if you have a problem with people, dont pick them

by giving out the arena you are not hurting anyone

the name of the arena is #mythrandir, and from what i read he doesnt have a problem with any of this, so stop whining you peons

Go base wasn't as organized as ?go 8vs8 would be (if it followed the #myth format). Overall better quality basing for everyone. The new people won't be picked for a while, but they will see how basing is done. They will catch on relatively fast if they pay any attention. And the solution to people that leave when elim starts or whatever, is to just not pick them again. Repeat leavers will be treated the same way they are in #myth, so they really won't be that big of a problem.
