This right here is definitely one of the saddest situations I have ever seen, a clash of two humongous internet dorks which has escalated way out of hand.. and I'll bet the root of ALL these problems is this i.d. person.

Now Kolar, I notice you've been pretty much shrugging off this whole situation and thinking this shouldn't of even been brought up, because you've been acting very condescending towards some of the people involved in this topic from what i've seen. What i've been saying atleast is that I think some staffers should look into this issue and see what they can come up with. I don't think the possibility of staff abuse should be taken lightly considering it can only worsen or occur during more inappropriate times like TWL. It's one thing for people to feud and bash eachother in the game, I couldn't care less about that, but when actions are being taken towards myself and my squad then of course i'm going to get involved. I would just like to know if people have looked into this, or is everyone pretty much just going to shrug the whole thing off and not think anything of it?

I "shrugg it off" because it's driven by petty shit without any reason or evidence. I don't care for you, your squad, spastic or PL. If there's real proof of this and if it is brought up without the personal bullshit I'll give it some merit but there has been nothing so far. I'm very critical when people make such accusations because of the sheer volume and the high number (almost all) of those found to be false. That said I wouldn't want any claim to go unchecked as I am also critical of staffers who do abuse.

That's how I see, weather anyone will look into it is beyond me. Your squad has greatly damaged any credibility they had on this zone by opening a thread when you know half the population is gonna whine and cry in and where your squad has posted their little personal feuds.

for example, if a player in basing was good in shark, terr, and spid they are versatile. If in dueling they can play up close and then back off and use the radar that is also versatile. your attempt at being smart fails ward. just like your attempt at actually playing in a dd

First of all, on the topic of jewlery. It's been alleged that someone bought I.d. a $600 necklace. On Valentines day I got my cute little gf a cute little necklace. It was the shape of a heart. Half white gold and half yellow gold. I'm white, you see, and shes Asian. How hardcore is that shit I ask you! It also had diamods in it. Secondly, in the past we have had sysops, I believe, or forum moderators, that surely would have tried to sensor this thread. The fact that it is still up and unaltered is probably a point for Mr. Luck.

Whenever I have witness corruption on staff I have reported it and followed up on the matter. It was actually me that got, I believe it was Philos, axed. In that case I reported him to P_L who showed good judgement in axing him and good judgement in restraining himself with something else related to that issue. For the record Philos is an ok guy. No disrespect to Philos. My experiences with Pure_Luck have been fairly positive so I wouldn't accept these "allegations" as fact out of hand.

However I do agree that any time something like this happens it should be investigated. Obviously in this case P_Luck would be a suspect. It is important that we have a minimum standard of accountability. What seems to work best from my experience is getting a few staffers that you know to look into things like this. I've usually been able to get things taken care of if someone I know tells me that staff abuse has been happening.

I think having a co-dean or whatever is great for times like this. It would also be nice if we had DoCk> around. He has the power to solve problems like this but no real ambition to use or abuse his power since he is practically retired. He's basically just an elder statesmen. Would be nice if he would LOG THE FUCK ON. DoCk if you see this, come into the game. I need to catch you up on my cute gf. Do you have kids now? Hows the fiancee? Are you married? So far from my knowledge, Pure_Luck would need your IP and password to take control of your PC through VNC. You also need to open VNC server for someone to control your PC from their keyboard and mouse.

On top of that, you will be able to see what they are doing through your monitor.

I don't understand why people give others control of their PC, expecially to someone who they meet over the internet because it is really really dangerous. If they know how, they can view all the websites you have visited recently, all the files you have touched, all the porn you have downloaded - and it can be really really easy with the right access.

1) Why would anyone give someone control over their computer to someone they only know online willingly? I know I did stuff like that to my friends when I was... 15 but who would do that now?

I'm not out to gain respect from ppl I don't know, nor care about. I've kept the drama out of the forums, since the Ice days when Pure_Luck threatened to ban my me & my squad from TWL after we beat them in a BD, and right after calling up I.d. on the phone and cussing her out for being on Ice. What Pure_Luck did was cross the line by abusing his power, and I won't let any corrupt staffer get away with doing that to me or my squad.

Guys, does it matter what option it is? Clearly they're both in the wrong (spastics frontpage takes away any maturity credibiltiy they may have had). Pure_Luck has been a controversial dean from day 1, not because he makes new and strange thigns, but because he clearly does the lowest amount of work possible, and is the worst dean we've had since weaver (oh wait, he was the dean before P_L? Fuck, well then insert any dean other than THE PUSHER. Lets go with KJW for now)
