About the whole lanc leech thing:

I don't claim to be an expert on this, in fact quite the opposite. But I've read carefully what others have written, and I don't have an axe to grind on this issue. Would this be accurate:

1) At early levels the lanc is not easy nor quick to level up, so it's not a popular ship.

2) At a mid-range level, the lanc gains some leech upgrades, making it disproportionally powered over a brief range of levels.

3) At later levels, other ships catch up in power, with their various L3 bombs, guns, and specials.

4) The leech is mainly, if not the only useful special going for lanc. Without it, pilots might as well be in another ship with energy tanks, portals, L3 bombs, or whatever.

If all four of these are correct, then would it make more sense to limit when the six levels of leech are granted, rather than dropping max leech from 15% down to 10% or 5%.

Perhaps give the first leech level (1/6) earlier, but delay later leech levels (3/6, 4/6, 5/6, 6/6) to later levels corresponding to when other ships catch up in power.

Or keeping the current levels of leech, but changing the distribution of leech power, so 1/6 to 4/6 gives very small leech upgrades, with the major boosts coming at 5/6 and 6/6.

Perhaps it might be better to try this first, and only if the lanc leech is still found to be overpowered at the highest levels of inter-ship combat (which haven't been achieved yet, in any ship, afaik) would a consideration for dropping max leech be appropriate.

Your american arn't you? why the hell are you complaining about the schedule? I only get to play twice a week, on the 1am sessions, the weekend sessions are for people in other countries, not everyone who plays the game is American.
I know the schedule isn't great, I hope they will change it soon, or make it 24/7 with the 2 hour limit per day, then noone would complain.
Leeching should be reduced from 15% --> 10%, not 15% to 5%
lanc is not so overpowered...

For my own health and sanity I'm not going to play anymore. I apologize for lashing out at you Stab, even though I do disagree with what you are doing, it's nothing to get angry about. Maybe if there is a more open schedule some time in the future I will drop in now and then at my leisure. Right now I need that 9pm-11pm slot to myself.

People were picking on the Lanc because they couldn't unlock it, but the ship maxes out at about rank 50 after that it is the exact same ship for another month, while everyone else catches up considerably.

The best suggestion I could make to improve the game is to give the shark a better weapon. It's a total levi clusterfuck, and levis don't deserve support points after rank 45. Sharking needs to be encouraged somehow. The best way I can think of is to give it a better weapon. Speed up its bullets maybe.

First of all this will be my last post in this thread so no need for the "stop whining" shit. I wont read it.

To conclude, I have had enough of the bullshit surrounding this game and am done with it. Just as it gets back on track, Stabwound starts abusing his power for whatever personal reasons.
It's pretty childish and basically there are other games/aspects of Tw where I dont have to deal with such bullshit.

I know the common attitude is that I whine and wont be missed, however people accepting such bias and abuse from the Mod is retarded and will only do bad things for the game.

I THINK CARBONPHOENIX HAS BLUE EMPS NOW. ALTHO I SAW HIM USING L2S THIS MORNING. O.o TBH, LANCS DO NOT KILL ME THAT MUCH, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE ONLY 2, MAYBE 3 THAT REGULARLY PLAY. lanc is not so overpowered, spiders are close to getting level 2 bullets, levis are close to blue emp (i think?), wicket has a thor, javs have level 2 bombs, weasels are close to brick. Many people play all these ships, only 2 people play lanc, an occasional 3 players, in about a month, lanc will not seem so overpowered. If qan makes the leech from 15% per level to 5%, then lanc should at least get something else, maybe a 5 second longer bloom (which is shit at the moment)
The most annoying thing for me is the schedule, I cant keep up with other players, and i have nothing to do but wait for a week for the next host I'll be able to play. Can someone explain to me why the 24/7 2 hour limit wouldn't work?
