I get the impression TW has basically told Dist to fuck off, and qan has done so.

doesnt anyone still think qan is really busy >: (. From what i heard from chao or some ER starting with a C :P hes already got heaps of things to do. Just because he hasnt been on for ages it doesnt mean he wants to destroy distension.

oh and... distension was on last night, or this morning for Americans i think....

Well due to people who think TW is their own private Agatha Christie novel, we know FUCK ALL about FUCK ALL.
I get the impression TW has basically told Dist to fuck off, and qan has done so.
So, before we sit on our hands and hope Dist returns to TW. I would like TW's Hierarchy to MAKE IT CLEAR what their intentions are in regard to Distension. Atleast then we will know where we stand.

It is this lack of creativity that will make your zone fail, even if you did have the skill or intelligence to try to switch Distension to ASSS. You don't have nearly the skill that Qan has, nor will you ever, you will always be an epic fail in everything you do.

Stage 2 - Pleading - Please host distension more, the entire zone loves this event.

which is why theres going to be multiple people working on it, luckily qan wrote it so its modular, and each cmd is almost independant.

I'm not convinced you know what modular means. Just because each command has its own function does not make anything modular or independent.

which is why we need your help more then anyone else. you wouldnt be working alone, so it might even be finished faster then your estimate.

I don't know who is on this team of yours, but I am pretty sure working alone would be faster. But that's typical in software, the larger a coding group becomes the less effective they tend to be. Even if I didn't have a semester left of school, and wasn't going into either graduate school or a job after that, I would still have a full plate of things to work on for my own zone. Sorry, I simply don't have the time.

It seems to me like your aim is for this endeavor to have some deliverables, or at least you keep talking about it like that. What I meant by pet project is have fun tinkering around but don't expect it to be usable by the general populace. If you do in fact want deliverables, pick something smaller.

read the other threads in this forum, it might give you a few good chuckles...

I have gotten several chuckles, but sadly most of them have been at your expense.

Again, I am not trying to discourage you from doing this as long as you realize that it probably won't ever get to the grandeur you are imagining. You'll be doing it for yourself and personal experience, not for the benefit of the community. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you want to help the community there are other things you can be doing with your time and effort.
