So.. who is in charge of this, 24? The person/people who are in charge of the money need to reply in this thread. It is insane that there is that much money sitting there while this game is practically dead already. It's clearly NOT being used in an effective way or else the population would be picking up, not dropping further.

There needs to be an open conversation with total transparency or things will stay the same and this game will continue to lose population.

I would be happy to take over the marketing campaign. By that I mean OPENLY finding somebody that the rest of the zone approves of. The way I see it, donating to TW is a lot like buying stocks, its kind of like buying a "say" in the business. Doesn't matter if you donated $1000 or $5, you should have a say in how it gets used. Naturally though, its fairly easy to predict that those currently in charge of it will be entirely reluctant to give up their positions of ultimate power and there is really no way for me to force my way in. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if I get suspended or reprimanded somehow for being so open and stirring up so much shit in this thread. I just hope it doesn't end up with me having to take legal action against people for stealing a bunch of money from all of us.

Though I know the people in TW generally have a maturity level of an 8 year old, try not to jump to conclusions. If this idea goes through (and for the record it's the best idea I have seen so far), then I think it's best to find a freelancer who knows what he/she is doing. I brought this up in my chat, and someone made a good point about how a marketing agency (or possibly a team) will drain the money in no time. So, yea, just saying. Freelancer that is pro at marketing would be the best option for this (I think).

i was approached some time ago and asked to work on a tw.org full refresh. pure_luck himself offered me monetary compensation for services rendered. my plate is just too full, though, and i haven't taken him up on the offer.

since that time, i haven't heard any discussion of the website whatsoever. i find that pretty odd. i know zazu was working on back-end stuff. haven't talked to him in awhile. haven't run into p_l in some time either.
