TWL Postponements

Actually TWL has always had a way of finishing games if we ever needed to postpone them. In this case I don't think TW and TWL Staff are willing to give special consideration to any minority group as we didn't delay for easter or other more Western holidays.

If we did allow people to pospone their games then the season would drag out 12-13 weeks long and good luck calculating who plays in the finals unless you want finals in week 14.

Thats not the point. Squads should be able to postpone 1 game if both squads agree, regardless of the reason. If playing 1 extra week means a higher quality TWL, isnt it worth it? Besides, we're already adding a week for make-ups. Just make it so squads that *do* postpone *have* to play during that one week, including all rematches and make-ups.

I'm not saying that everyone should have off for certain holidays, but if both squads want to postpone the match, they should be able to do it.

Shouldnt be treated any differently from all the other holidays. You win some ya lose some. As others stated, just because your key players dont show, well, thats their choice.

And what happens if they miss out by one game... The one game where they could have one if they had their top lineup

You take into account Easter being an international holiday which makes sense. But frankly, why is Thanksgiving taken into account over a Euro holiday?

If a squad doesn't have a fallback from the first line, I seriously doubt its depth. Honestly, -final- should be one of the fewer teams arguing about that too, so I'm quite disappointed.

I think that might be resonable given that that postponed day is a holiday only. Otherwise we're gonna end up with the season being 14-15 weeks long. I think it's something to consider for season 10.

I dont see how it'll drag out to be 14-15 weeks. If every squad is allowed to postpone one and only one match, that will, at most, add an extra week. If we combine the postponed games + replays into one week, everyone will be happy.

Remember, not every squad would want to postpone a match as they get one and only one for the season. A US squad might not want to postpone on a euro holiday and vice versa. This way, its up to the squads to decide which games to play later.
