Orders> soilder go into that building and kill any1 u find, u can shoot them, blow them up, stab them........However if u capture them, U CAN NOT MAKE THEM POSE IN FUNNY POSITIONS...ITS JUST WRONG.

My point: I do not agree with tourture of any kind. We send a large group of trained killing machines into a war, in a situation where death is everywhere, their friends die and they kill others. Is there anywoner they misbehave?

right, because you and your investigative team have audited the money trails. as if the bush admin would even allow that shit to be made public knowledge.

just because bush had a military budget approved by congress doesn't mean the money is either enough, or was spent in the right places. some of our soldiers have to drive humvees with no doors through fallujah, and there's not enough body armor to go around.

      not enough body armor

      troops over-extended

      inadequate armor on humvees

duh, because that $87 billion included a shitload of no-bid contracts to fag contractors like dick cheney's halliburton. this is not about freedom, this is about war profiteering and regime change. wake up and smell the portfolio. seriously, i don't care if you want to kid yourself into thinking this is about freedom, but don't come on here and lie to us. i get enough of that bullshit from fox news, and the republican administration.

if you decide to reply, post proof, or don't bother. you don't have enough credibility.

Go talk to a Vietnam vet and ask him if the war fucked with his psyche. You have a gun, you get bored, these people hate you, the shit is crazy, and we need them out of there. We shouldn't have been there in the first place, and interestingly enough that's exactly what the 9/11 comission is finding out.
But war doesnt make soldiers perverted, i know they might have terror flashbacks and all through seeing excessive violence and friends die but where does perversion come into the picture it doesnt war doesnt make someone do perverted acts thats what im saying.

Theres an obivous difference soldiers are killing iraqi resistence groups who threaten lives of civillians and allied soldiers. If US went in and started killing civillians then yes that is wrong and be subject to war crimes but this is not the case. Thereby humilating an iraqi who posed no threat doesnt provide any benefit or save lives and is only done for entertainment is wrong. That is clearly obvious your just making excuses here.

You forget that soldiers are highly trained and many would of alot of experience, anyway even if they misbehave thier commanding officer should be able to report it, but the officer in this case was in on it! And officers have extensive training and experience and can handle the death.

21 pounds 5 ounces, I think. What a great and terrifying heart wrenching book. It's disturbing that it is fictionalized yet with still enough truth that it could BE completely true. You should read Chickenhawk. One of my favorite books... It's an autobiography, of Robert Mason.. a slick pilot in vietnam. It's better than The Things They Carried, believe it or not.

Its common sense obviously any fatality would lose Bush voters and the longer Iraq goes on and the worse it gets Bush will lose voters so it makes sense to ensure that the army airforce, navy are up to scratch.

These links you provided are fruitless yes there may have been shortages before soldiers were shipped off but this was only short term your article clearly explains that these soldiers would be fully equipped in Iraq.

I dont see anything wrong with buying oil from Iraq if it is bought at market value the fact is OPEC prices are ridculous so its another reason why Iraq should be free so the rest of the world can be oil at reasonable prices i dont see anything wrong with that just an added bonus.

if you decide to reply, post proof, or don't bother. you don't have enough credibility.
Ive placed all my arguments before im just recycling them again to fit individual posts they are very reasonable.

Oh i want to see other peoples sig i dont see why i should turn off that option mattey should make a sig thats less offensive and embarrassing when people see your screen. It still astounds me how mods dont consider this offensive but comments from other people like bloodzombie in the other thread are.

Sorry about the double posting, but I didn't want to taint my last post with this insanity. War makes everything perverted. It perverts humans, technology, everything it can possibly touch into being used to cause death and destruction. Go look up My Lai. Go look up Tiger Force.
                      That's just from one war.

This Iraq bullshit _IS_ more like Vietnam than people want to admit. We're not fucking fighting "remnants" or "unorganized" leftovers from Saddam's army. We're fighting the citizenry. And the bad part is? I can't blame the Iraqis too much. It makes me fucking sick. If someone invaded my country, and occupied it? You can goddamn guarantee I'll be fighting them, the only way I can... A guerilla fish in a sea of peasants. What does it mean when we fight the citizenry? It means if we keep up this piddly half assed Vietnam non occupied zone bullshit.. things will get nothing but worse. As far as I see it, we have only two options:
                      A) We leave, we don't even tell anyone what we're doing... just one morning, everyone wakes up, and poof, no Americans to be seen, and then we tell every single nation in the world that we will never be involved in military conflict again, unless it involves direct actionable threat to our own shores.

                      B) Rule the HELL out of Iraq. Rule it with an Iron hand. Just like McArthur did in the occupation of Japan after WWII. Martial law.. set boundries and SHOOT EVERY PERSON that doesn't obey, and then after things relax, and the cities can be rebuilt (even better than it was before, just as in Japan),
then you can turn a STABLE country over to the citizenry.

I'm in favor of option A... myself... But if they are going to do it, I wish they'd at least quit half-assing option B, because all we're going to do is continue getting in fucking deeper over our heads.

damn you're thick headed. they photographed those people nude because they were trying to humiliate and mentally abuse them, not because they were sexually attracted to them.

jesus christ, you're a fucking retard. i post proof, then you lie and deny it. i post THREE links, and you discount them ALL because you misread ONE? the article never said they received the equipment once they reached iraq. it said the fucking opposite:

Except you fail to realise that most iraqis dont want to live under saddam's regime and want to live in a democracy we have already discussed this! Theres only resistence to US troops because iraqis feel that US will stay and control Iraq but this is a misconception i think you will find resistence will drop dramatically after June 30th.

                                A) We leave, we don't even tell anyone what we're doing... just one morning, everyone wakes up, and poof, no Americans to be seen, and then we tell every single nation in the world that we will never be involved in military conflict again, unless it involves direct actionable threat to our own shores.

                                Both those options arent practical.

Im not getting into this again ive already proven my points in other threads why the benefits outwiegh the cost in invading iraq. I find it funny how you think that you are all for the civillians of Iraq and prefer to keep Saddam even though Saddam committed terrible atrocites and ruled in fear- thats highly hypocritcal!
