The episode when they first visited Babylon 4 was a great example of this. Including a minor, but intriguing, plot detail (guy in spacesuit phasing in and out) that would be completely explained 2-3 season later. By the way, the current season of Lost has actually been pretty good and the creators have promised that everything will be fully answered by the time the series ends next season. If you stopped watching it because of the completely disjointed plot, I'd recommend you give it another chance.

I think Season 4 Episode 9 was one of the best and most action packed episodes I've seen, this season has been a lot better than the third season. Third seasons had 7 episodes of 'nothing', but i still staggered on. Kolar gave up watching it but I remain humble that they will keep producing strong episodes and build towards more suspenseful plot.

Lost hit such a strong point that anything mediocre is passed off as crap, so it's understandable that a show can't 'always' produce top notch material. I remember BSG having 1-2 episodes that just flat out sucked, the one that sticks out in my mind is where Lee has a prostitute and the other is when Starbuck fights that 'smart' enemy fighter, whatever it's called.

Well the Scar episode introduced us to the Cylon idea of "reincarnation" and how hard it is to really gain a foothold on the Cylons.

He doesn't really have aqchoice, being a prisoner. One of the reasons we all like Baltar's story better than Apollo's is because Baltar is an excellent actor, and Apollow is horrible. His courtroom speech was just SO bad. Maybe it was just the writing, he had to repeat several lines for extra drama, but it fell flat as they say. And the idea of putting your own defense counsel on the stand and "questioning him" is ridiculous... "so lee, what do you think happened?" Sorry nickname, but this guy is just sad when he has a monologue. Another reason his story sucks is his character and Starbuck's are so different, she sould never want to go out with a fag like him.

The exodus is season 3's best episode, the BSG falling down real fast while dropping off vipers was an awesome strategy.

Also remember how when the Lucy Lawless cylon saw the final five, she walked up to one of them and was like oh im so sorry. I tried hard to figure out who this could have been, and it makes sense now. In one of the earlier episodes she almost killed Anders, if not for the blonde and the asian killing her.

Not only that, but she and the cylons held colonel Tigh hostage for months and took out his eye. Sorry about that.

i think you're looking into the choice of song a lot to much, i highly doubt you can say 'they've been to earth because they didn't use an original song'

I don't know, I have to agree that an Earth song was taken for a reason. I just wish the director didn't use whatewver crappy version they played at the episode's ending.

To say that Lee's monologue was 'SO bad' basically takes any credibility you have and throws it out the window, at least for me. Also saying that 'Starbuck wouldn't like Apollo in real life' is pretty retarded too. Either your 10 or stupid, if you've never seen two polar opposites attract.


Also comparing Baltar and Lee doesn't really work, considering there complete opposite aspects of humanity, with Lee being Justice, Life, Truth, etc and Baltar being Selfish, Deluded, Narcissistic, and slightly insane. Oh and he's a whore, that too.

The song mix was pretty cool, much better then the original in my opinion but I've never been a fan. Since the Final Five are from Earth it does now make sense that they had a song from there, what it means for the current state of the 13th colony I don't know. Maybe it means humans are on Earth and are advanced technologically.

The break between the Cylons I think would mean Cavil and the gang might not be so interested in finding much less settling on the planet. The Ones didn't seem that into it anyways whenever they've had a firm control over the rest.

Lee's monologue in the courtroom was very well done. It furthered the plot between Lee and his father. The problem is Lee's character hasn't been involved in any interesting plots since the middle of season 2 and now he's just doing dry politics, he should have jumped with the Basestar somehow in the last episode with Roslin.

Aww come on Nickname, you are coming dangerously close to insulting one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. Lee's character is way too predictable and too much of a truth and justice type for me to like him. His character was probably modeled after Superman and God how I hate Superman.

I hate Apollo, Starbuck and Roslin more than any other characters on the show because I can predict every single choice they make. I love Baltar because he acts the way a real persone would act in his shoes, not the way we would LIKE people to act given everything he has been put through. Baltar's character has had so many make overs in the show it's impossible to guess where he will end up; destroyer turned savior I hope. I also see a lot of myself in his character which coincidentally is same reason I love House.
