Maybe you shouldn't have quoted him because his opinions are that of a racist douchebag.
You can google the quote just as easily as i can.

I like you. Your brother is a douchebag.

The guy's opinion on race was not in question as far as i'm concerned. It was his thoughts on the U.N. that was my focus. Racist people can still have a valid opinion in OTHER areas. It's too bad some people are distracted by the other areas irrelevant to the issue, no matter how one may disagree with those other areas. Just because someone is an asshole doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about.

You didn't say where you got it either, this is the problem man, you don't source anything, how the hell do I know what you're saying is truthful? I'm not close minded, I just need some proof before I believe everything you say. This isn't me trying to make a personal attack but come on man you really got to start saying where you get your info from otherwise anyone can shoot you down, even if you do have something valid to say.

just for mere fact that you (and your brother and the likes of you two) would have jumped right on the idea that you have
Me and my brother are very different people, I don't feel like getting into a verbal slugging match, if you and Kolar want to, then by all means go right ahead. I just wanted you to see that you need to source these things before you can quote people. Just because he was a congressman doesn't mean he was a terrible person (which he was) with terrible views.

Edit:>Had i seen the wikipedia page I most likely would not have posted the quote...
Maybe you shouldn't have quoted him because his opinions are that of a racist douchebag. This is exactly why I need proof of what you say before I believe anything that you type, well because you quoted a guy who said the UN is terrible but he also turned out to be a racist who's also anti-semitic. The other guy also had a political career which took him 30 years to see his views were slightly fucked up, all in all, I'm not that impressed HeavenSent.

There now, rant on that. :P
The quote I found was the exact same as yours, coincidence? I don't want to argue you with that link because it doesn't really pertain to the UN deserving to be disbanded. Not only that but it doesn't include the quote I found on wikipedia, there's absolutely nothing wrong with wikipedia but it's not something that should be sourced, it's a place to find quick info then use the links it provides to sites, usually .edu's which are University sites that have proper sources. You can't source wikipedia without looking into the the sources it gives you, usually it's real and valued info but you still need to do some background checks.

I do know that you got that quote from wikipedia and there's enough evidence after spending ten minutes sourcing it to believe that he was truly an anti-semitic racist, and that an anti-semitic opinions on the UN really don't carry that much weight. As far as the other site you listed, I'm not going to bother, since I'm not seeking a fight. I just that it was funny that you quoted a racist congressman and hoped for his words to carry some weight but they don't hold a fart to the wind.

This is not about who said what, it's about factually backing up what you state as fact.
I'm here to fuck with you. Is that alright?
You're a cocksucking faggot. Now prove me wrong.

And quoting a racist anti-semitic [dead] Congressman also is not a good way to convince people either.

When it comes to religion & politics, no one is going to convince anyone of anything. For some people, it's not who says it, it's what is said. Sometimes morons can spew a little wisdom, but it takes the wise to see the profound truth in the mutterings of a half-wit, while others are stubbornly blind & close minded because of the fact that a half-wit said it.

I'll tell you how this will go..at least in my case it is very simple. I will find out who is running for the republican party, and learn if their philosophies are somewhat what I like. If the presidential candidate for the republican party is a total douchebag, and the democratic party candidate isnt, I wont vote. If say...I really didnt agree with the republican candidate this election but Hillary Clinton was running on the democratic side, clearly Im going to vote republican anyway. It's that simple. I guess theres a lot of people that want to think that it matters to be 'educated' on who they're voting for and really feel that they know the candidates well and who best supports the US as a whole when they go to cast their vote, and if that makes them sleep better at night more power to em..but I cant be bothered

    Vote huckabee !!!!
