How long ago are we talking volcs? Because I was staff in 02-03. And the reason I wanted staff back then wasn't because I wanted to help people, it's because I wanted to host all the shit that never got hosted, to be honest.

Anyways, I don't know half as much as I would like to know and thats even less then knowing half as much as what is going on. But to say nothing is wrong with the Upper staff? I am not getting deep into this, because I don't know enough, but I would say there is clearly something wrong in upper staff, maybe it's not as bad as everyone is pretending it too be, but you can't come on here, claiming P_L is doing a perfect job, and everything in upper staff is fuckig brilliant, and blame the rest on your fellow <ER>'s.

It's also worth noting that up until 2 days ago, we had a 2:1 ER to ZH ratio. On paper, at least. I haven't seen half of the ERs host in ages. I realise that a few new ZHs were hired, and I can't really dispute the choices there, as they're experienced in TW and know how things work (cf. Ewan).

The fact of the matter is, that in the lower staff ranks, the jobs should be clearly defined: ZHs to answer .?helps and resolve problems, ERs to host (that includes wbduel, but tbh an automated system like elim or tourney would be better there, but thats besides the point) and mods to chase cheaters. Oh, and scrap Robohelp. Anyone who can't spare 30 seconds to pm a newbie who needs a simple answer is, well, forget it.
