It's pronounced like "red" but it's still spelt "read".

Benno, as of yet the tiles in the tileset are non-functioning, but there have been talks of being able to buy furnicure that will serve a function also (such as a working forge for your shop). In the mean time, while the little sword icon won't give it a mechcanical advance over a blacksmith without one it will help give you an identity, when you are offline in the game the shop can register in pass-byer minds as a sword shop.

not to make fun of you but just an english tip. When you say you "readed" something dont add ed to it. It would still be I read it wether its past present or future tense.

Any chance of having just one thread about Harumi's event. It's all over the place at the moment.

EDIT: and make it sticky, at least for a while

No, he said not to insult him about his spelling. I thought we were being more helpful than insulting.

Yes, 20x20 is the R1 plot of land. This nice parcel of land offers a nice view of the river and overlooks the bay (give or take a city wall). Being the most common plot of land so you have better odds getting your house in the city with a R1 zone plot.

An explanation of houses and shops.

In the early parts of the game houses and shops won't be functional in the way they will be near the end. The goal is to make houses a place where the player who owns it can rest and heal. For shops, they could carry on a market thanks to an NPC the bot system can set up for them.

The primary difference between the two is one allows healing and the others buy/sells things. Also, as far as other buildings go inns will of course heal for a price, etc.

BTW, the good places are starting to fill up - make sure you list several diverse locations you want to use when you submit your building so we don't have to randomly assign you.

                              Have a nice day,
                              -Harumi

So if you have a shop is your only chance to heal in an inn where you pay for it? Can you have a house as well as a shop?
