Trying to reason with someone who's far more interested in taking sideswipes and walking off usually doesn't work. I'll add this, though:

Paul has said it before: We were designed to be a republic, not an empire. We don't need troops stationed across Europe, not to mention troops who are STILL placed in South Korea and other places. It's a problem many superpowers/empires have dealt with in the past. They continued to spread their armies and customs around the world, and what happened to these great powers? That's what I thought... They collapse. They dissolve. They come to the realization that such a presence across the entire world simply isn't possible for any extended amount of time.

Apparently Epi was trying to say we would no longer be such a world player or project as much military force around the world if someone like Paul was elected. Projection of military force is a part of being such a superpower after all. I guess staying strong internationally at the expense of our people is ok, because if not we're ignorant isolationists right?
