Yeah but unless you have a gun to your head you don't even have to play this game.

When I was playing Armored Core 3 I had invisible enemies. I could still lock on though so I didn't say OMG NOT FAIR!!!!1!1!!1!!111!!1

Same with the enemies that disrupted my locking system, so I had to waste 20 bullets aiming manually.

Like those 2 examples, cloakers are just a gameplay element you have to deal with. And you can always NOT play in pub anyway.

Armored Core 3 was awesome.... so well balanced but it had it's share of whiners just like this does..

The only game i remember playing that people didn't whine about lame tactics was tiberian sun.
You could kill the enemy's whole base using just a sub apc and a cc, i stille never heard anyone whine about it, all i heard was gg even after a 30second engineer rush game.

But whatever... the weasel is perfectly balanced... if you keep moving it wont hit you .. simple as that, instead of just flying around and messing why not try working as a team and asking your terr to check for x's...
There's usually at least 2 terr's in base in Public anyway.. Stop the whining and go play in a weasel yourself, it's so much more fun than crying about it :wub:

The game is more balanced in the way more players choose to play weasels because they are now quite powerful. but it really is a team effort to kill a good weasel. just like it was a team effort to kill a good levi terr. Sometimes even a whole pub effort. So as when levi terrs ruined the fun for basers, weasels are now ruining the fun. Why not make a few changes? I still dont see what the problem is with any past settings of the weasel. Ive stopped pubbing quite a few times because of these annoying weasels that think they have skills to kill a warbird thats all on its own in base.

Tone's whining about Weasels reminds me so much of the people whining and bitching in Tribes about offensive snipers having "no skill". I guess just because you can't see it when it kills you, it must be eliminated from the game.

Tone, never, ever step into Halo 2, you will get slaughtered. But wait, you could complain there too...

You seriously seem to have little knowledge of war games and those terrs you mentioned that couldn't kill you? They either sucked, or didn't care, because it's still rather easy to take a weasel in a terr.

Sniping in Halo2 was so cool... i quit playing cause of all the annoying kids though.... The ENITIRETY of Halo2 is all one big Elim whining game... and don't even get me started on the bitching that goes on in the clan games.

Btw you missed out sword kills that somehow lag hit you from 3 times the distance they are allowed to. :wub:

Go into a public arena, and play as a weasel for one hour. Try to be the best cloaker you can be, and try cloaking in all parts of the map. It should give you some perspective.

Now after playing as a weasel, tell me how "easy" it is.

If cloakers were back to the way they were before, or even weaker and the following survey question was asked to players, a vast majority would answer true. yes or no? wouldnt they? .......

"True or False: The change to cloakers has made trenchwars much more fun, i am now able to compete without interruption. in fact this is one of the best changes ever in terms of making trenchwars a much more enjoyable experience (which is a good thing for a Game)."

Im not talking about the same 5 flammers on this thread, im talking about most pubbers, a vast majority would answer true to that question, wouldnt they??

i already know what you flammers are thinking, do not attempt to use the false analogy that everyone would answer true to something that would make the game easier for them. that does not apply to cloakers which are a entirely seperate thing, and has nothing to do with difficulty or a desire to have an advantage.
