I think we need to look at is this way those. For those who want to rush to remove pl remeber what is the alternatives. I think he has done a good job keeping this zone going, then again i have only bin playinf for a year and a bit. Do we have anyone with the relevant experience and more importantly the time. The abuses here seem very small if they were abuses (and the proof is FAR from conclusive). Nuffin ever good comes of forcing someone from a position in a way based on accusations and rumor that are not solid or a whispering campain.

Im not taking sides i just dont want to see the zone damaged by this arguement over pretty much nothing...

TWL will happen, i think there even seems to be less cheating goin on. Things are looking up for TW all we need to do now is hope the server can handle the extra players from EG and the other SSCX zones. I miss EG already

PL gave you a 75 day ban until you went onto the forums and told everyone, most importantly Rudy that PL did that for you. All staffers know the network rules, he was actually being nice giving you a break there but you shot your self in the leg.

How is it I shot myself in the leg? I went to forums when I was netbanned. I never brought it to forums until it was a netban, I tried talking to him when it was a 1 year ban to TW but he wasn't there. Then I had noway of communicating with him to figure out whats going on so I put it on forums after I sent an email to the complaints. And then hotmail sent me a reply saying the message could not be sent to the complaints email.

What else do you expect me to do? Send an email again and again and again until it finally goes through which have taken a hellovalong time or gone here and asked why it was upped so high. All I would have wanted was an apology from PL saying he was wrong to say he would give me a 75 day ban.

Now I can't have shotmyself in the leg if I was netbanned before I made a thread on these forums :P
and i don't mean any hard feelings, Kolar :/

EDIT: I'm backing up fireballz on all of this. Everytime I would talk to him he would have been nice and honest with me. So I can't see how he would lie on something this big.

after reading this there does seem to be a fundemental problem to me.

Who really can do the vetting procedure if it is pure luck that is accused of cheating/abuse of power.

It seems that dock> and priitk can't effectively, so would it go to Mantra who is now joint dean of staff as i understood?

i dunno, on these forums there have been many threads about what a shambles staff is. I've certainly noticed that there are alot less basing events and things hosted when i'm online and there does now appear to be a problem with getting the coders for the TWL bots or something. I don't know alot of the details but from what i've seen there should be changes made in the higher level of staff, it would be nice to get active sysops and spread power around a bit than haveing it in the hands of a few.

Yes it was a bad mistake to make that kid in charge of anything in TW. I remember seeing a huge discriminatory gap between the mentality of higher staff such as Dock/Epi/The Pusher and then my first encounter with Pure_Luck. Was quite shocking indeed, and I knew this zone was in for its share of corruption still. Years later, my premonition still stands strong.

Anyone who plays this game and has a relatively elevated perceptivity has had this type of reaction towards Pure_Luck at some point of encountering him. Even his diction has an unceasingly primitive resonance to it.

I suppose that brings one more positive point to ceasing to play this game
