This thread has gotten a little off topic, But then again, it seems to have turned into an USA versus WORLD thread.

Dang, the only reference to any of the candidates on this page is a freaking quote from Louis.
Who will I be voting for over here? No one, because I'm not American. I came over here, I work over here, but I am not American and do not salute the flag. Therefore I should not have the right to vote into power the people who control those who call this country home.
For those who aren't American trying to tell those here who they should or shouldn't be voting for you have no right to try and dictate what the policy of this country should be, and you'll be talking to a brick wall because ultimately people will be voting for their own best interests not what benefits someone on the other side of the world. Foreign policy is only 5 to 10% of the politics equation in almost all countries. If America were leaders of the free world it'd be a different matter, but as they've already said before they're only part of the puzzle. Not representative of the whole.
Spend more time working on making your own countries better. This one is too broken to be worth the effort.gravy_: They should do great gran tourismo
gravy_: Electric granny chariots
gravy_: round the nurburgring

Edwards is swine who rides the religious card, claims he is not like most politicans but he is exactly like most politicians.
Guiliani has reportedly used cop cars as taxis for his girlfriend. He's like the hybrid of a liberal and conservative, people question his integrity running Republican which conflicts his previous political views. He's making a dash for the white house on nothing but 9/11. He does speak to a lot of economical conservatives that have more left wing social views. I just think the guys a cunt bag, otherwise I might consider voting for him.
McCain is your average candidate, he was a POW who has a lot of experience in politics but he's got little definable qualities that actually make him stand out. McCain would win this if he had a personality, it's not like he speaks to the people. I enjoy watching him on TV and seeing his views on different topics but he clearly had a big push at the start of his campaign and now it's diminishing.
Ron Paul is the most out-spoken politican who promises change and prosperity and power shifting from federal level more to state level. I fear his reclusiveness, and a lack of interest in things such as the UNEF or any interest in the UN. I also thing his views on free markets is bold and pretentious. He is the most likable guy but he is also the most radical, would I put any stalk on how his presidency would pan out? Hell no.
Obama seems to want to make reasonable changes that seek to clear out a lot of bureaucracy surrounding politics. Anyone joining his campaign cannot have worked for a lobbyist two years prior or after being in his administration. Obama does not take money from lobbyists and relies heavily on the a wide base of supporters. He seems like one of the most intelligent and capable politicians running for president.
Hill-Dog takes lobbyist money but says she wont allow this to affect her judgment, they paid for your campaign of course you're going to help them out. She seems to be riding coat-tails and playing off the fact that she's a women, her issues and plans for America or less than mediocre, she hasn't promised anything worth mentioning yet she still might win the democratic seat which is beyond me.Last edited by Cops; 12-29-2007, 12:20 AM.it makes me sick when i think of it, all my heroes could not live with it so i hope you rest in peace cause with us you never did

Because what would you consider Canada? Your country is obviously involved in international affairs, but it only really engages in action when defending itself legitimately. Paul's policies would, ironically, shape up to be very Canadian. How "closed off".

- Korean War, we helped Sol from being taken over. Canada has a rich military history, we gained respect for a strong commitment and ability to do things other militaries could not.
- Canadian Troops in Afghanistan, we'll probably be taking over the campaign this year
These three actions were not done to defend ourselves, Canada is involved in MANY humanitarian missions, we might not be the biggest army or the best but are commitment to people is evident, and all it takes to realize this is a history book. Canada's military diminished over the past twenty years but we've started to shape it up a bit, we're getting bigger, and better. Although our military is used for missions that involve saving lives, not taking over foreign soil. People hardly see what we actually do because unless we invade a country or go to war we're hardly seen as a military presence. There's Canadians dying in the middle east just like Americans, to deny this and say that Canada only asserts itself to things that protect itself is a slap in the face to all my countrymen who are dying in the middle east alongside their American brothers.it makes me sick when i think of it, all my heroes could not live with it so i hope you rest in peace cause with us you never did

"The United Nations is the greatest fraud in all History. Its purpose is to destroy the United States."
John E. Rankin, U.S. Congressman
"The Trilateral Commission is internation and is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power - political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical."
Sen. Barry Goldwater 1979 -With No Apologies
